Thanksgiving has already come and gone...and I am barely catching up on Halloween. Time just seems to be flying by and I cant seem to slow it down not matter how much I will it too!
I. Will. Be. Better. At. Journaling!
Halloween 2014 was our first as a family of 3! I couldn't have asked for a better first holiday. William was a penguin for his first Halloween and of course we had to dress to match! I have to admit all of the holidays have been extra giddy for me this year with my munchkin! I've always loved the holidays during every phase of my life, but with a munchkin the magic has been brought back into them!
The day started off with finalizing costume details, prepping William for his first Halloween with some classic Halloween tunes, mixed with the usual hustle and bustle of the day and by 3:30 PM we were off to pick up Bethany and Liv for our Hubby's work 'trick or treat'!
Dustin's work (AtTask) is extremely family oriented, which I love! They decorated two entire floors of their building and dedicated them just to Halloween trick or treater's, games, and photo booths! We snagged a few treats, hopped in a photo booth, and rode in an elevator that was recently adorned with vomit(not the highlight of the first Halloween event I assure you) and then we were off to our next stop...Chris and Michelle Hansen's home to see their kiddos off on their trick or treating adventure!
Frozen seemed to be the highlight of the Halloween season, but I have to say of all the hundreds of Elsa's and Anna's I saw this year Lexie & Emmie were my absolute favorite! They were complimented by Parker dressed as Harry Potter! They were so giddy to start their candy hunt...it made me excited for when William will be begging us to 'just go already'! Ok...I'm a little sad he is so big already but I'm trying to prep myself for him getting even bigger!
After seeing the three muchkins off we headed over to Mama and Papa Hansens home for the infamous chili and breadsticks! Of course we had to have an impromptu photo shoot once Liv showed up...and then it was off to bed for those two adorable munchkins.
We polished off the night with Frankenstein and then headed home where we all drifted off to sleep.
It as a perfect day!
I can't wait to experience many more Halloweens with my family.
