A Trip to the Uintas

Our cute friends Marci & Brian asked us to come along for a day in the Uintas so check out some awesome waterfalls.  Of course we said yes!  We commandeered a van (thank you Winders), and packed four adults, two munchkins (three if you count the little one on the way...congrats Marc!), treats, diaper bags, and hiking packs all in for our Saturday adventure.

Let me just say it is amazing how much stuff you have to bring when you have a munchkin!  SOOO MUCH:)

Our first stop was the waterfalls (I'm sorry to say that I just can't remember the name of these falls..or else I would for sure tell you).  We had to get a little photo-op with it being William's first time hiking.  He slept nice and cozied up to me through the entire thing...and I loved every minute of it.

Our second stop we didn't get quite so lucky with a photo-op as William had his largest blow out to date.  While I was feeding him I reached my hand around his back and came up with a hand full of 'stinkers' residue.  Oh boy...we had forgot to bring and extra diaper for our little hike...not to mention wipes.  So I enlisted Dustin to run back to the van and grab wipes, a diaper, and a fresh onesie.  Dustin made record time bring me a fresh onesie, diaper, and ONE WIPE!  Yes, you read that right...ONE SINGLE WIPE for a humongo bungo blowout.  When I asked why he only brought one wipe he said, 'because I didn't want the hassle of bringing the entire bag.'  I'm still scratching my head over this one;)  Needless to say we ended up using his soiled onesie to help clean up the mess.

After a very eventful day we headed home, stopped off at a burger joint for a fabulous meal and then headed home for naps.

It was our first Hansen Adventure with our little munchkin.
