When Abby first started attending BYU Idaho her one request was that we come visit her for her 19th birthday! Micaiah, Michael, Seth, Lexie, Dustin and I drove down Friday night(separately) to enjoy Abigail's birthday dinner of choice...Olive Garden! Yum! Afterwards, Dustin, Seth, & Lexie headed back to Salt Lake for work(Dustin) and to catch flights to St. Louis(Seth&Lexie)!
We girls decided to have a much anticipated girls night and Michael wanted to spend time with his brother and sister-in-law. We watched Breaking Dawn part 2, had a mini photo-shoot, ate treats, and finally fell asleep on the not so soft floor!
Highlights from the trip:
1. I ran my first 7 miles ever! Thank you Micaiah and Abby for cheering me on
2. Tour of BYU Idaho! Gorgeous campus
3. Trip to Deseret Book
4. Watching "Oz the great and powerful" (not my favorite movie, but it was still fun)
5. Skeeters restaurant
6. Impromptu photo shoot in the gardens at BYU Idaho
7. Red box movie night "The Avengers"! If you need a good laugh + adventure this is one to get!
8. Daylight savings(lost me an hour of sleep)
9. Early morning church(I was really feeling the hour lost of sleep)
10. Breakfast burritos
11. Sunday afternoon "adventure walk" (As Grandma Stones likes to call them)
12. Watching "Emma Smith, My Story". It's a tear jerker, inspiration, and motivational.
13. Spending the weekend with family!
It was sad and emotional to say goodbye to Abby, but I was eager to get home to my hubs!
