Late night "work" run

New business means lots of extra hours at the office, or driving for hours on end, in the case of a shipping/courier business!  Yesterday, Dustin put in enough hours to get most of the way to Washington...that pulls at my heart strings a little bit!

After I got off work last night(promptly at 5 PM) I called Dustin only to find he was on his way to Maple, UT!  Where in the world of Utah is that?!  Well it's three hours away from our humble abode...make that six hours round trip!  Luckily, I had a workout to muster through(bummed ankle still bummed) and a relief society service project to attend.  This kept me completely occupied & I received a melt in your mouth pumpkin chocolate chip cookie for my efforts!

I mozied on home a little after 9 PM...no husband yet.  So I started my rampage of cleaning...I love cleaning...contemplating the idea of a cleaning business?  Would I get the same satisfaction of cleaning other people's home's/business's that I get when I clean my own home, etc?  Most likely not!

Dustin showed up near the end of my cleaning frenzy...perfect!  We planned on relaxing&watching Dustin's favorite show...Duck Dynasty.  As we were about to sit down Dustin got THE CALL.

THE CALL that says he has a run at 9:40 PM.  THE CALL that says we are not going to be enjoying a night of relaxing&duck dynasty.  So I after a day of not seeing my husband we decided to enjoy a little date night drive to the Salt Lake Airport!

We made a quick stop at the warehouse to pick up the part needed for shipping, filled out some paperwork, and made it out with bare minimum frost bite!  That warehouse is a temp that would give penguins a run for their money..er fish?...I already have a project in mind that includes space heaters & lots of hot cocoa!

To the warehouse, the airport, and back home took us almost two hours!  We rolled into the driveway close to 11:45 PM, tiptoed across our walking stones, and flopped ourselves into bed with the clock ticking closer and closer to midnight.

I am such a carriage-turning pumpkin at midnight these days!  As soon as our heads hit the pillow we were off to dream land!

Night Night!
